I created the copy for PLEENQ’s media kit in 2015, which was later used as the basis for copy used in outreach emails, social media posts, and a voting-based competition.
This tech startup offered an exciting business prospect to fashion bloggers — this Google Chrome plugin allowed bloggers to add affiliate marketing links to images on their websites.
The marketing team and I worked to create the #SetTheTrend 2015 competition, where photos of popular fashion bloggers were promoted with PLEENQ’s software. Fans were asked to vote for their favorite looks, and the blogger with the most votes earned a MacBook Air. Many fashion bloggers saw this idea as an opportunity to grow their readership and fan bases. Out of over 500 bloggers that were contacted, more than 150 took part in this competition.
